In June this year, the unit exhausts the Tuper SA decided to implement the WMS tool Datasul at its plant in São Bento do Sul Through the search of a more specialized service and the whole experience of numerous deployments of this product, Tuper found a supplier in SCM Concept ideal.

The project started very quickly. In less than a week we were doing inventory and putting all processes in the air. We had a big challenge in order to impact the lower operating current distribution for the other branches. Stocks were very high, with approximately 200,000 pieces to be inventoried in a few days. We had several issues that were quickly resolved through consultancy support involved. The pressure was great all around, but we were able to drive all the difficulties consciously and with great agility, providing great confidence to all managers of the plant.

The results were not long in appearing. Common issues such as the organization of the warehouse, search time and completeness of the materials deliveries did not occur anymore. The staff at all times proved very willing and great aptitude for the new process, allowing for a very fast learning.

The logistics analyst Igor George Abdo says that the support of the SCM Concept consulting and IT area Tuper was paramount to the success of any new operation involved. Thus Tuper became the first major partner of SCM Concept.

We still have quite a challenge to drive deployment in 15 other units exhausts throughout Brazil until the end of 2011. And we are sure that the SCM Concept with Tuper are prepared to achieve the same success already accomplished.
